About Us
A project born through an
unexpected journey of Gods grace
unexpected journey of Gods grace
We are the Coptic Orthodox Church in Windhoek, Namibia. During our homeless ministry our priest met women whose lives seemed to be filled with brokenness and closed doors. Yet God was opening a new door to them. The first woman who came to the church was searching for hope, but she found something far greater – a new life in Christ. When asked which person in the Bible inspired her most, she answered; “Mary Magdalene”.
From that moment, the Magdalenes Project was born.
Today, every Magdalene garment carrier more than a Bible verse – it carries a story of hope, restoration, and lives transformed by the love of Christ.
Our Mission: to create beautiful handcrafted garments and to provide food for those in need.
Further, it is our mission to inspire children, youth, and adults to love God’s Word and wear it with pride. Every design carries a meaningful Bible verse and tells a beautiful story of faith, hope, and redemption.
What makes Magdalenes Clothing unique is that every garment is handcrafted by women whose lives have been transformed by God’s grace. Once they lived in brokenness and despair, God restored their dignity, gave them hope, and opened a new future for them.
Behind every T-shirt is a true story—a life raised from the depths, dignity restored after humiliation, hope born after despair, and purpose found after abandonment. Every piece is a testimony of God’s transforming love.
Our clothing is more than fashion; it is a way to share God’s Word, celebrate transformed lives, and inspire others through stories of grace woven into every garment.
